How to Become a BCPA Member
Joining the BC Psychiatric Association is easy and completed through your Doctors of BC account. Follow these steps:
To become a BCPA member, you must first be a member of Doctors of BC. If you’re not already a member, join here.
Go to www.doctorsofbc.ca and sign in.
After logging in, hover over your name in the top right corner and click
“Member Area”
On desktop: Click on “Engagement” → “Sections & Societies.”
On mobile: Tap the menu icon first, then navigate to “Engagement” → “Sections & Societies.”
Scroll to the bottom and click “Join sections and societies.”
Find “Psychiatric (BC Association)” and click the “+” icon.
Select your membership type:
- $100/year – First year in practice
- $300/year – Regular membership
- Free – Medical students and residents
You’ll be prompted to allow Doctors of BC to share your information with BCPA. Click “OK” to proceed.
Click “Join Now” at the bottom of the page. You’ll be directed to the checkout page to confirm and complete your payment.
